teen domainer

Sadly, I am no longer the “Teen Domainer,” this last fall I turned twenty and decided it was time to change blog names. I had a very busy semester at college and am now just getting around to changing everything over to  Thesis 2.0. Although, this is a new site, I am still going to be writing about many of the same topics I covered on TeenDomainer including development, end user sales, new tools and SEO.

For those of you who have no idea who I am, my name is Brian and I am a college student who started domaining in the seventh grade. Right now, I own about 100 domain  names and have a little under half of them developed. I build out most of my sites using wordpress and am a huge fan of product domain names. Recently, I have been moving away from adsense to more affiliate marketing and lead generation. Last summer, I founded a company that provides high quality content for webmasters written by college students called College Copywriters.  I am currently living in Montana for the summer working as a river rafting guide!

On this blog, I will be writing from the perspective of a part time domain investor, because that is what I am. I enjoy a steady stream of revenue from my developed sites and I add to that with end user sales and web development work. If I reach my goal, I should earn around $30,000 this year.

My final goal is to be very open with numbers and stats. As I build sites and sell names I want to share as many numbers and details as I can so that my readers can follow and learn from what I am doing. I am not going to be writing every day, I hope to get out a few posts a week with real info that my readers can take action on. If you want to follow along follow me on twitter and check back often.
